2000

Opportunity in the Marketplace

Ron Harland Sr. and Ron Harland Jr. crafted a business plan to provide asset management services for companies looking for a solution to assess, track and manage their technology assets and product lifecycles. What they eventually built was a small business operation focused on office equipment and fleet management operations based out of the Overland Park suburb of Kansas City.
2003

Our First Major OEM Partnership

In 2003, Evolv came up with an idea that would have a lasting impact on the small business. Evolv determined that it's best chance of survival and growth was to develop a strategic relationship with a major OEM partner. Early 2003, Evolv solidified its first major OEM alliance agreement with Xerox Corporation. The relationship was focused on gaining new enterprise fleet management business by combining Evolv's operations management experience, rapid integration process, diversity and small business certifications with Xerox Corporations product line and back office systems and support. This OEM partnering model would set the stage for Evolv's business development strategies moving forward.
2007

Fastest Growing Business in KC & Inc. 500

By 2006, Evolv had developed additional relationships with IKON (now Ricoh Corporation), Konica Minolta and Standard Register, giving Evolv a greatly expand product and service portfolio and improving its competitive advantage. The company had acquired clients such as Lockheed, Johnson & Johnson, Glaxo Smith Kline and KeyBank with annual revenues surpassing five million dollars. In 2007 Evolv Solutions was name the #1 Fastest Growing Business in KC by Ingram's Magazine and was listed #80 in Inc. 500 during that same period.

Today, Evolv has developed into a Managed Print and Technology Services operation providing equipment, staffing, outsourced solutions and equipment lease financing to commercial, municipal and federal clients across the U.S. With fifteen million in annual revenues, Evolv has created one of the most comprehensive and flexible document management systems in the country, representing products from Xerox, HP, Lexmark and Konica Minolta just to name a few. Evolv gives clients even greater value-add through its Minority-Owned Enterprise certification, 8(a) certification and GSA Schedule 36.
